By birth and upbringing from the Midwestern US, a former English and Foreign Languages teacher, BAW is currently a law librarian. He's read fanfiction for many years, but has only recently started writing, and only in this fandom. Most of his stories have their genesis in a scene that pops into his mind; he then starts to write backwards and forwards to see how that scene came to be and what leads from it.
